Dental X-Rays & 3D CBCT

Great dentistry starts with great diagnostics. Digital X-rays and 3-dimensional CBCT scans help us see cavities, infections, fractures, bone levels, nerve pathways, sinus anatomy, and more—so your treatment is precise and personalized.

Digital X-Rays: Clear Images with Low Dose

  • Detect cavities between teeth and under restorations
  • Evaluate bone loss from gum disease
  • Check root tips and infection areas
  • Guide routine care with sharp, fast images

3D CBCT: A Complete Picture

Cone Beam CT creates a 3D model of your jaws and facial structures. It’s invaluable for:

  • Dental implants planning (bone height/width, nerve mapping)
  • Impacted teeth and wisdom teeth evaluation
  • Root canal diagnostics and retreatment planning
  • Airway/sinus assessment and pathology screening

Safety & Comfort

Modern systems are designed for efficient, focused imaging. We follow ALARA principles (as low as reasonably achievable) and tailor imaging to your needs.

Why Imaging Matters for Outcomes

  • Fewer surprises during treatment
  • More conservative, targeted care
  • Better communication—you can see what we see

FAQs

Are dental X-rays safe?
Yes. Digital sensors and focused beams deliver very low radiation compared to older systems, and far less than many medical scans.

Why would I need a CBCT instead of 2D X-rays?

CBCT shows depth and spatial relationships that 2D can’t—critical for implants, root canals, complex extractions, and sinus evaluation.

Do I need to prepare for a CBCT?

Usually no special prep is needed. We’ll guide you on removing metals (glasses, earrings) to avoid image artifacts.
